What is Bitcoin and Altcoins?

First, I want you to know that Bitcoin is many different things. This is why it’s often hard to define it and many newbies get lost.

But let’s get more in detail.

When Bitcoin was created it was innovating in cryptography, as a communication system, and as a financial asset. 

If we look at Bitcoin as a financial asset over the long term. It is gone INSANELY well. it’s the most volatile, and highest-performing asset of all time.

But this is not all happiness and glory. As we’re aware, Bitcoin has gone through several periods where it declined by 70%, 80%, and even 90% 😱

Bitcoin is extremely volatile, and for this reason, people think is very dangerous.

But don’t panic, I will tell you how professionals see Bitcoin…

One of the most fascinating things about Bitcoin is that the fact that goes up so much as well makes it more rewarding for each unit of risk than most assets in the world, which theoretically makes it more efficient than all the assets in the world.

This is all more complex so don’t worry. However, let me tell you that by knowing this fact, you’re already in the top 28% of all the people in the crypto market. 😎 . “You’ll be surprised how many people are just trading and investing without not knowing what they’re doing”

Moving on to Altcoins…

The term “Altcoin” was traditionally used to denote “alternatives’ to Bitcoin”

98% of Altcoins are Scams. Sorry to break it to you like that ☹️ but you wanted to know how a professional see Crypto and Bitcoin.

These days we know that there are NOT “alternatives” to Bitcoin.

you’re gonna hear all the time the term Altcoin. There is not real specific meaning for that world. It can be assign anything that isn’t Bitcoin or Ethereum.

And yes Ethereum is also an Altcoin. However, Ethereum is the second largest coin on the market. Making it more safe and professional than all this “Altcoins” & “Sh!tcoins”

Now let me talk about the secret sauce about Altcoins…

You may wondering, if Bitcoin and Ethereum is so established then why Altcoins exist? and whats the appeal in investing in Altcoins?

This means that Altcoins have a very broad range of returns.

They can be very high performing or they can be very low performing and very DANGEROUS.

Understood?

Now I’m gonna tell you what a real professional do in order to maximize gains…

Are you ready?

When our systems and analysis are telling us that Bitcoin is going up, we might want to hold more Altcoins to increase the performance of our portfolio. Then as the market starts to go down we’re not only sell all of our Altcoins, but we sell all our Bitcoin as well and raise more $ to protect ourselfs.

These are the techniques and tactics i personally deploy in my own investments.

This is only for professionals.

If you’re holding Altcoins or something random stuff without a system or analysis you’re probably gonna suffer.
