Whats better? Investing or Trading?

This is a question I hear a lot because often people want to know where is the best to put their time. Right?

They don't want to pursue an activity that doesn't have a high ROI. It makes sense to me as well, time is the most precious asset we have isn't it?

Well, the first thing you should ask yourself is "What do I think investing/trading is in reality?" take time to actually think.

Let me hit you with some stats. 😇

Trading: 90% of people think that trading is sitting at a cool computer maybe listening to some music, chill lifestyle, and having lots of free time. Do you think this way?

Investing: 67% of people think that investing is putting some capital in the market and then waiting until it 100X. Do you think this way?

If your answers are negative, congratulations. You would be surprised how many people think that way!

Personally, I believe that investing is superior to trading.

The reason for this is due to a principle called "the time value of capital"

Time & capital are closely connected.

And capital closer to the present day is more useful than capital further away.

This is the reason why trading is so competitive. This is because people are trying to win immediately so they can have the cash quickly.💣

Trading is difficult for the majority of people and especially if you are a beginner. Any coach, person or whoever that tells you trading is simple is lying to you and maybe they want to sell you some course and rip you off.

I'm an investor. However, I do trade part-time. And the majority of professional traders I know started investing and then moved to trading.

So what to do if you're indecisive?

Are you a beginner?

• No investing❌

• Research crypto fundamentals ✅

• Learn DeFi ✅

• Learn how to protect yourself & how to avoid scams ✅

• Use the most time possible learning. Don't fall for the people that just trying to sell you something ✅

Do you have some experience?

• No trading ❌

• Start to invest small, so you can learn through practice ✅

• Start building a system ✅

• Consider "swing trading"✅

Are you a professional with experience? Are you sure you're that person? or are you being arrogant?

Pro tip: humble yourself or the market will do it for you.

But if you're that person with high capital, congratulations 💪

I believe that if you take everything as a professional from the beginning you will end up finding your edge in the market.

Patience. You're not gonna learn everything in one day.
